1. It was interesting using my hands as the subject matter. They are something I use everyday. I would never have thought to actually draw them, when they are what I would use to draw.
2.I used pencil because I don't know how I would be using charcoal.  I would be afraid to smear everything. I am just more familiar with pencil.
3. Using my non-dominant hand was very difficult. As you can see, I am not as efficient with my left hand as I am with my right hand. It was most difficult to shade with my non dominant hand.
4.I think the drawing if my left hand is much more successful than the drawing of my right hand. I think I did a much better job shading and just using lines to shape my hand. I was not successful with shading my right hand at all. My drawing of my right hand is a complete mess.
5. I don't think I would ever use my non dominant hand to create art again. It was just too difficult and uncomfortable to draw with.
