1.For years, artists have continued to treat and use color very carefully. Color is very unpredictable and dominant that it can play with your emotions. Color is very difficult to control and is said to be so powerful, that it can 'even jaunt your dreams'. Colors are usually coordinated with feelings. for example, red is usually a form of madness. The painting should have reasons, because reason releases emotion.
2. Personally, I think its fascinating to see how many colors are actually put into one painting. The building that June painted in the video had blue, orange, pink, red, and even yellow. Before this video, I would have looked at a building and say it was just simply brown.
3. In regards to color, the way that it effects our emotions has made an impact on myself. Artists will recreate paintings if they feel the color is not right for the emotions that they are attempting to portray.
4. In the Feelings video, I realized that paintings are just that, paint. The way artists use the color creates the emotions of the figures he is creating. The way he uses dark colors around peoples eyes makes them portrayed more as evil, and the pink rosy cheeks shows innocence. I never really looked at art that way.
