1. I chose these pieces because first, they were all portraits of women. Being a female looking for inspirational pieces, I think it is natural to be drawn to the female portraits. I chose three different types of portraits to sort of help me decide. The first one is a side view portrait. I thought it might be cool to possibly sketch a side portrait. I chose the second picture because of how it was sketched. I am not quite comfortable using paint yet, so I ended up using a pencil sort of like the one used in this portrait. The last picture is of a full person. I thought it was unique and different than portraits I am used to seeing.

3. I had a really hard time drawing my mouth/smile. To be honest I don't think I overcame this challenge. I just did my best to make it look alright.
4.I think my smile being so big represents me. I am a very positive and happy person.
5. I used lines and shape in my art. I only used one color.
6. I really enjoyed this project. It allowed me to attempt to be creative!
7. Overall, I am pleased with my artwork. I am not an artist and was never good at drawing so I thought my final piece was good compared to my experience.
